Haryana: Government employees to get increment in salary

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Government has decided that those State Government employees who were due to get their annual increment between February and June, 2006 may be granted one increment on January 1, 2006 in the pre-revised pay scale as a onetime measure.

Thereafter they will get the next increment in the revised pay structure on July 1, 2006. Giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Finance Department said that the pay of the eligible employees might be re-fixed accordingly.

Those government employees who were drawing their pay at the verge of Efficiency Bar (EB) in the pre-revised pay scale as on January 1, 2006, they would be deemed to have crossed the E.B. for the purpose of pay fixation under these instructions.

He said that these instructions have been issued to all Financial Commissioners and Principal Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners,Deputy Commissioners and all Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) in the State.
